Upon landing , meet and greet with the tour guide, and transfer Tirana, the vibrant capital of Albania. After checking into the hotel and a short break, the city tour begins with a visit to the National Museum of History. Next is a walk along the central avenue and central square to see the Ethem Bay Mosque, the Clock-Tower and the remains of the Castle of Tirana. Continue towards the Pyramid – former mausoleum of Enver Hoxha, and onwards the tour by visiting Enver Hoxha's house in Blloku. This evening features a welcoming dinner and overnight stay in Tirana.

After breakfast, depart to the historic city of Berat, located in south-central Albania. As you travel, admire the rolling hills dotted with olive groves that surround this UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in the 4th century BC, Berat has a long and storied history. It was an Illyrian settlement before being conquered by the Romans in the 2nd century BC. The Byzantines later controlled the city before it fell into Ottoman hands in 1450. Throughout its history, Berat was an important trade and religious center.
Marvel at the white, Ottoman-era houses climbing up the steep hillside, giving it the nickname "Town of a Thousand Windows."
Our journey begins within the breathtaking walls of the Castle of Berat, where we'll wander through fortified grounds little changed since the 13th century. Marvel at the castle's blend of Byzantine elegance and Ottoman strength as you soak in sprawling views of red-tiled rooftops. We'll continue our time travel to the ornate Church of Dormition to admire 16th century iconographer Onufri's exquisite religious frescoes in the very church that inspired them. Let the colorful saints and scenes transport you to an Albania defiantly keeping Orthodox traditions alive through centuries of shifting politics.
Later, visit a charming winery nestled amid Berat's verdant hills. Tour the vine-laden fields and production houses to learn the craft of winemaking. Savor a tasty farm-to-table lunch with wines thoughtfully paired to complement the fresh, local flavors.

Our journey takes us across the border to Macedonia and the jewel of Lake Ohrid. As we roll into this UNESCO World Heritage site, the terracotta roofs and church spires reveal over 4,000 years of history tucked into the hills surrounding the sparkling blue lake.
We dive right into Ohrid's storied past with a walking tour of the atmospheric old town. During our adventure, we'll discover famous medieval churches like the Holy Mother of God Perivleptos and the Church of St. Clement of Ohrid at Plaosnik. We'll also visit the awe-inspiring fortress of Tsar Samuel with its stunning panoramic vista. And to top it all off, we'll cruise back to the center on charming little boats.

After breakfast at the hotel, our journey continues towards Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. Along the way, we make a stop in the beautiful town of Tetovo to visit a remarkable 15th-century mosque, adorned with unique paintings from the 19th century.
From Tetovo, we embark on an adventure to one of Europe's most stunning canyons, Matka, where the picturesque Treska River flows. Here, we take a break for lunch at a restaurant nestled along the riverbank, where you can savor a delectable river trout dish. Afterwards, we hop aboard small boats and set sail upstream for 6 kilometers to explore the enchanting Vrelo Cave, featuring magnificent cave decorations like stalactites and stalagmites.
As the day draws to a close, we continue our drive to Skopje, where we'll settle into our accommodations and enjoy a leisurely evening. Rest well, as there are more exciting experiences to come in Skopje.

In the morning, we embark on a walking tour starting from the historic Kale – Skopje fortress, which has stood for centuries. Our journey continues to the Old Turkish Bazaar, where we have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture, encounter different communities and religions, and discover long-forgotten traditional crafts.
As we stroll across the iconic Stone Bridge, a symbol of the city, we pause to admire the grand monument and fountain dedicated to Alexander the Great.
Our next destination is the memorial house of Mother Teresa, who was born in Skopje in 1910. Here, we can learn more about her inspiring life and humanitarian work.
Our journey continues towards Kosovo and its capital, Prishtina. Our first stop will be the Gračanica Monastery, renowned for its stunning medieval Serbian Orthodox architecture and beautiful frescoes.
Next to Pristina, starting from the city center, we will come across the impressive 26-meter high clock tower. A visit to the National Library is a must, as we can admire its unique architecture. At the Independent House of Kosovo, we will learn about the remarkable journey of former president Ibrahim Rugova and Kosovo's campaign for independence.
Our next destinations are the Sultan Mehmet Fatih Mosque and Jashar Pasha Mosque, two significant Ottoman mosques and local attractions.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will embark on an unforgettable journey to the enchanting sites of Kosovo. Our first stop will be the renowned Patriarchate of Pec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located just an hour's drive from Pristina. Enjoy the serene ambiance as you explore the medieval monasteries and marvel at the breathtaking frescoes dating back to the 13th century.
Continuing our expedition, we will venture towards Decan, where the magnificent Decan Monastery awaits. This Serbian Orthodox monastery, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is celebrated for its awe-inspiring architecture and intricate frescoes. Take your time to wander through the monastery grounds, delving into its captivating history and soaking in the spiritual atmosphere.
As the day progresses, we will make our way to Prizren, a captivating town renowned for its well-preserved Ottoman-era architecture and vibrant cultural scene. We will first visit the magnificent Sinan Pasha Mosque, built in 1615 using river stones from a former church. It is considered one of the city's largest and most impressive religious sites. Next we will visit the historic League of Prizren building from the 1800s, now home to the Ethnographic Museum. The museum showcases Albanian culture through artifacts from the Ottoman era.
Our final stop is the 14th century St. Ljeviš Cathedral, an UNESCO World Heritage site, which exemplifies the region's medieval Byzantine architectural traditions through its design and frescoes. The cathedral has been beautifully restored after earlier conversion to a mosque. The day end with a delectable dinner.

Starting from Prizren, our journey will lead us into Albania, visiting Shkoder, boasting a rich history as one of the Balkans' oldest cities. Our first stop will be the remarkable Rozafa Castle, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas of both the city and the enchanting Lake Shkodra. Following a delightful lunch, we'll make our way to Montenegro, pausing at the picturesque town of Petrovac renowned for its pristine beaches and charming old town. Here, we'll explore the ancient Petrovac Citadel, a captivating fortress steeped in history. Next, we'll embark on a beautiful captivating boat ride to the idyllic Sveti Stefan island, where we'll be mesmerized by its medieval architecture. As the day draws to a close, we'll conclude our adventure in Budva, a coastal gem graced with a remarkably preserved Old Town and awe-inspiring panoramic vistas from its historic town walls.

After breakfast, we begins with a tour of Budva's old town, where we'll explore its fortress, meandering narrow streets, charming squares, and ancient stone structures. We'll visit the renowned bell tower of St. John's Church, a significant Catholic monument. Next, we'll discover the Citadel Fortress, an impressive structure constructed 2,500 years ago, featuring well-preserved watchtowers, ramparts, stairs, and barracks. Within the Citadel, you'll find a valuable collection of books and maps dedicated to the Balkans, as well as a small Maritime Museum showcasing a medieval ship model. In the afternoon, we'll journey to Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage city with a history dating back to 1,000 BCE. Our guided walk through the Old Town will encompass notable sites such as the Square of Arms, Byzantine Palace, Beskuca Palace, Pima Palace, St. Tryphon Cathedral, Maritime Museum, St. Nicholas Church, Blessed Ozana Church, and the North Gate. Our next destination is the picturesque village of Perast, renowned for its stunning Baroque and Venetian architecture. Optional boat trips to the enchanting Our Lady of the Rocks island are available. Enjoy some free time for lunch at your leisure. Finally, we return to Budva for an organized dinner.

From Budva, head inland to Cetinje, the historical and cultural capital of Montenegro. Cetinje is known for its rich heritage and beautiful architecture. We visit Prince Nikola's Palace and Vlaska Church, dating from the 15th century.
Next, make your way into an authentic Montenegrin smokehouse, where you can indulge in a delightful tasting experience of aged prosciutto, cheese, and an assortment of other exquisite specialties.

After breakfast, continue to some of the most important historical monuments and buildings in the city - the Skyline (the stairs) which is a historic and picturesque site of Podgorica, the Republic Square, the St. George church form the 11th of century, Millennium Bridge, Clock Tower (Sahat Kula) from 17th century.
